What better way to kick off summer than to enjoy blues artists sharing their musical talents at an outdoor concert? The 2013 Springing the Blues Festival held annually at the Sea Walk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach, FL is a three-day blues extravaganza that has grown to be a staple event for North East Florida.

22 bands including DieDra & the RuffPro Band, Zac Harmon and The Lee Boys made up the 45 hours of blues tunes that rocked the weekend. Thank you to everyone who joined us over the weekend and we can’t wait to see everyone next year!

Tom Coughlin Jay Fund held their 9th annual Wine Tasting Gala

On the evening of Friday March 15th the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund held their 9th annual Wine Tasting Gala at the Wells Fargo Center in downtown Jacksonville. The night attracted over 950 attendees and many great staple restaurants of our city including Azurea, TacoLu, The Capital Grill, Sweet Pete’s and many, many more.

An exciting energy filled the two stories of the venue as people explored the offerings from all of the amazing vendors who shared their wine, mouth-watering food, and their show stopping dessert displays.

The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund’s mission is to help families tackle childhood cancer, and through the generosity of the night’s attendees the foundation was able to raise over $200,000!

5th Annual NFHLA ROSE Awards

Last night 500+ nominees and guests attended the 5^th Annual NFHLA ROSE Awards to honor the men and women in the hospitality industry for their excellence in customer service.

Mayor Alvin Brown presented a compelling message on how vital the people of the hospitality industry are to the success of Jacksonville and thanked all of the nominees and guests for their commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Mike Buresh, Chief Meteorologist on Action News was also in attendance and presented the nights winners with their ROSE awards.

Bride-to-be’s gathered this past Sunday at the One Ocean Resort & Spa for the annual A Taste of Bridal Bliss event. Brides were able to witness first hand what a beautiful wedding venue the One Ocean Resort & Spa is while mingling with the leading wedding professionals of Northeast Florida.
